What We Do

Our Mission

To provide support to people living with long term disabilities by offering financial assistance through grants which enable access to a holiday or suitable respite care.

Everyone needs a holiday, but for severely disabled people and their carers, we believe it is crucial to the possibility of a contented existence.

— Jonathan Cavendish

CS Disabled Holidays provide financial help for holidays for people living with severe physical disability due to neurological or neuromuscular disorders.

A relaxing break in the sunshine? Adaptive Skiing? An accessible rural retreat? Whatever kind of holiday you fancy the world is your oyster with CS Disabled Holidays. If you need funding for a holiday- alone or with carers or family members, CS Disabled Holidays can enable you to take a break.

Often people who are severely disabled find their disability an obstacle to going on holiday, as it is expensive to find the right accommodation, and to pay for the care that is required. We provide funding for respite holidays for disabled adults, their family and carers.

Unlike other charities offering short breaks for disabled people, we do not own holiday properties or respite centres. Our funding means that you can choose a break that really suits you, your requirements and your desires.

Social services or local health authorities may provide some funding for a holiday but they will rarely meet the entire cost.  This is where we can help.  If you already have some funding in place, CS Disabled Holidays may provide a contribution of up to 50% of the cost of a one or two week break, per year.
