A wonderful break

My wife and I enjoyed a much needed change of scenery and routine and have just returned from a 7 day cruise to the Norwegian fjords. The fjords are absolutely beautiful and it’s a trip we’d often talked about doing but being diagnosed with MND in 2015, getting away has become so much more of a challenge and a financial burden. I now have a feeding rig, rely on a ventilator 24/7, need a hospital bed and hoist and a full time carer but still try to stay positive and focus on, and appreciate, what I can still do. We are so lucky to have a fantastic carer who was able to come with us but obviously the cost of funding holidays often becomes prohibitive so we would like to express our grateful thanks to CS Disabled Holidays for the grant we received to help us fulfill this particular dream to mark our 25th wedding anniversary
